Passengers on Cotai Water Jet can enjoy the convenience of Up-Stream check-in services on participating airlines. Services includes general check-in, collection of boarding pass, bag tag and tax refund coupon, baggage check as well as CIQ (Customs, Immigration and Quarantine) clearance either before taking the ferry to the Hong Kong International Airport or before taking their flight from home destination to final destination
MACAU TAIPA FERRY TERMINAL
For Connecting To Flights at Hong Kong International Airport
Airline and baggage check-in service is available at the Check-in Counter at departure Hall, Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal. Boarding pass of participating airlines will be issued to passenger after check-in. Passengers do not need to go through any check-in procedures upon arriving SkyPier or go through immigration formalities at Hong Kong International Airport. Baggage will be tagged and delivered to the designated flight.

- Check-in counter closing time: At Macau Taipa (please check sailing schedule in advance for flight connection)
- Luggage check in service —— will be cut-off 60 mins before sailing time.
- Passenger check in service —— will be cut-off 30 mins before sailing time.
- Check in gate —— will be cut-off 25 mins before sailing time.
- Passengers should have the above minimum connection time for flight connection upon arriving at SkyPier
- The service is only applicable to direct flights
- Japan Airlines only applicable to flight no: JL736, JL026 (Final destination of the journey should be in Tokyo or Osaka)
- The service is currently not available for all US-bound flights until further notice(except Cathay Pacific Airline and United Airlines)
- Not applicable for any passenger with excess baggage.
- UCI is provided free of charge
- Passengers who transfer to Macao (Air to Sea), should arrive at Transfer Area E2 at least 60 minutes before scheduled ferry departure time for ticketing and transfer procedures. For passengers without checked baggage, 30 minutes would be sufficient.
- Additional Screen measures are now required by the Department of Homeland Security for all international flights bound for the U.S.. All passengers whose port of destination is US and intending to travel on Cotai Water Jet airport route sailing from Taipa Ferry Terminal, Macau to Skypier Hong Kong International Airport, the MCT (minimum connect time) is 185 minutes (including sailing time). This is to ensure the timely completion of your UCI service ( upstream check-in) and boarding of your scheduled ferry and onward flight.
In the event passengers whose UCI is unsuccessful at Taipa Ferry terminal will be permitted to travel on the scheduled ferry and will be required to handle their Airline Check-In at the respective Airlines counter in Skypier.
